Osteria Partenopea is the result of a shared dream, years of experience, and a deep love for Italian food and hospitality.
We are two chefs, Valeria and Costantino, who have spent our careers working in our family-run restaurants back home in Italy and here in Bath, dedicating ourselves to our craft and sharing our passion for authentic Italian cuisine with the local community.
Over the years, we gained valuable experience, built lasting relationships, and developed a vision of the restaurant we always dreamed of creating.

From that long-held seed of an idea, Osteria Partenopea was born.
At Osteria Partenopea, we bring to your table what our grandparents taught us: respect for quality ingredients, the importance of sharing meals with family and friends, and the belief that food should be honest, generous and made with love.
We are proud to be a genuinely independent restaurant. As chef-owners, we are personally involved in every aspect of the restaurant, from creating the menu and preparing the food to welcoming our guests.

Having learned the golden rules of Neapolitan cooking from generations past, she now blends those cherished lessons with her own creative touch. She’s enjoying the challenge of bringing a shared vision to life, while expressing her passion for authentic Italian hospitality.

Costantino’s focus centres on bringing the bold, savoury, fire-roasted flavours of Naples to Bath. With over a decade of experience in regional Italian kitchens, he combines his love for timeless recipes and the best of seasonal ingredients with a flair for creativity in every artfully prepared dish.
